It's been a long time coming!! IG please forgive me for the extended hibernation but this year has been one for the books A lot has happen to me this year including a cross country move back to my hometown. At first I was very unsure what my immediate future had in store but, the one thing I did make sure to do was remain POSITIVE during this time.... After a few weeks of being home I ran into Scottie and the @transformpt team and from there I knew exactly what my future held for me. Fast forward to the present and I can honestly say that I am now happy to go to work every day as I am doing something I am very passionate about. I can't thank the team over at @transformpt enough for bringing me on and taking the chance with me. I promise nothing but big things to come in the near future! Have you been working hard towards reaching your goals this week? As another week comes to a close it's always a great time to look back and reflect on everything you accomplished that week, regardless of how BIG or small the goal was. Besides reflecting on your accomplishments it is IMPERATIVE that you perform dynamic stretches to help flush the influx of lactic acid out of those extra sore muscles.... I have made a routine where I must stretch for at least 5 minutes before bed and it has done wonders for all my lifts! Not sure how to start your stretching routine? The World's greatest stretch (shown above) is a great total body stretch that engages your hip flexors, glutes, quads, core and even your shoulders! This stretch has done wonder for me and I would recommend this for any who is actively training! Now let's stretch and reflect on a great week! DO YOU FEAR CHANGE? I have had countless conversations with clients discussing their current & future goals and one term that I always bring up is CHANGE. In order to accomplish future goals most individuals will have to experience CHANGE in some form (Mental, Physical).... Many don’t embrace CHANGE the way they should as they believe it requires massive action on their end. Little do they know accomplishing their small daily habits adds up every day resulting in a transformation of yourself for the better To help explain take here’s an idea I took from @james_clear book Atomic Habits If you were to get 1% better each day for a full 365 calendar year, you would start the next year being 37 times better than you were on this exact day! On the other hand, if you were to get 1% worse every day you would find yourself down to a goose egg (ZERO) at the end of the year.
