Five Horizons Farm

We are excited to announce that we have been awarded a series of grants from the NRCS focusing on several farm enhancements, including the implementation of a high tunnel system, development of a bee pollinator habitat, and a few projects aimed to improve overall soil and water quality.

FARMSTAND HOURS FOR THIS WEEK ARE LIMITED TO THURSDAY 2pm-6pm ONLY. THIS WILL BE OUR FINAL OPEN STAND DAY FOR THE SEASON.

The farm stand will be open Wednesday 10a-3pm and Thursday 2pm-6pm. We have tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini, delicata and spaghetti squashes, onions, peppers, kale and corn.

Today’s farmstand hours are 10am-3pm. New additions this week are spaghetti and delicata squashes, cantaloupe and sweet white onions. Also for sale are tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, kale, garlic, eggplant, pickles, and red potatoes.

Composting is serious business at the farm. Our bin always surprises us with some awesome volunteer transplants. This year its pumpkins galore and some heirloom tomatoes. Under all that green is an amazing heap of ready to use compost

Reminder for this weeks farm stand hours: Wednesday 10am-3p and Thursday 2pm-6pm. We will have corn again this week and lots of other delicious veggies!

Now available CARROTS picked fresh today! They are as tasty and nutritious as they are beautiful! Stop out and grab a bunch! G ( who’s equally as beautiful) is always ready to help!
