That poor head gasket. 00 Outback with 170k and still on the original gaskets. Coolant poured out of two of the head bolt holes. So close to making milkshakes. The customer recently picked this car up from Florida and drove it home. That also has to be about one of the worst knock sensors I have seen. Working on this clean car in addition to the mountains of snow outside are seriously making me want to move somewhere warm and less rusty.

Just wrapped up this 98 L coupe project for a customer. He brought in this clean coupe and a rusty 05 WRX sedan. Most of the WRX now lives on in the coupe. It’s running an iWire Wiring Services merged harness. Also swapped auto to manual, rear disk conversion, front brake swap, JDM lights, tan to gray interior and much more. This is making me want to find another 93-01 wagon and get busy! Also wanted to say I know I haven’t been posting much. It’s just disgusting how bad FB throttles my post exposure unless I boost posts. Zuck is rich enough. Lol!

More turbo engines this week. Just waiting on a few parts to wrap up this 16 STi that is receiving a new Subaru short block. I will be out of the shop Thursday and most likely Friday. If you need to get a hold of me either message on FB or call and leave a message.

Turbo engines have been keeping me busy with a few more on the way! Also have some turbo swaps in the mix. And finally a nice cool breeze rolling through the shop instead of being drenched in sweat all day.

Gotta love living in the northeast! This is why a few of my Subarus will never see winter use.
