Dear Meals on Wheels Clients. We have ice on sidewalks and steps - therefore we will not deliver today. Forecast for tomorrow is even worse, therefore our next delivery will be WEDNESDAY 2/17. We regret having to cancel, but it is for the safety of our dedicated volunteers. Driving and Walking are too hazardous at this time.

FLCM teamed up with United Way, the Hazelwood Initiative, Center of Life and others to schedule COVID-19 vaccines for people 65+ living in Hazelwood. FLCM scheduled 63 persons. As opportunities arise, we look forward to helping more of our neighbors to get the vaccine. Not everyone was able to get it, and UPMC is calling those on the list who did not receive the vaccine. The team registered more than 200 residents!

On Saturday November 7th, Fishes and Loaves will be helping to host a pop-up food pantry with the YMCA! From 9am-12pm in the Spartan Center there will be a variety of food for affordable prices. Please spread the word!

This is amazing news! So many people across the country rely on food stamps for survival. Limiting people's access to food stamps would mean more and more people would be left hungry and struggling to make ends meet. We are grateful that food stamps will not be limited!
