Calling all vendors! We are now recruiting food vendors (as well as a limited number of merchandise vendors). As always, our goal is a varied, interesting menu of food options for our patrons, and we're especially interested in finding vendor(s) with vegetarian-friendly menus. Get in touch with us at the page below!
Our town is abuzz with the news that James Blachly of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra won a Grammy last night! The festival congratulates him as well as all our fest alums who were honored: Snarky Puppy (2013, photo by Kevin Stiffler) won for Contemporary Instrumental Album, their FOURTH Grammy. Nominees included Grace Potter (2016, 2009) for Best Rock Album; and Robert Cray (2010), Ruthie Foster (2009), Bettye LaVette (2011), and G. Love (2015), all in the Best Contemporary Blues Album category.
A fantastic festival memory for your Friday -- Grace Potter on our mainstage, 2009. Photo by Kevin Stiffler.
"The optimism that radiated from last week’s announcement of tentative dates for the 2021 AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival was absolutely contagious," wrote The Tribune-Democrat in this editorial. We're so glad -- and there's a lot to look forward to on Oct. 1-2! As always, we're grateful to the T-D for their support of our festival.
Great news for your Friday -- the 2021 festival is tentatively set for Oct. 1-2, and AmeriServ Bank has signed on once again as our title sponsor! We are optimistic, and we are busily planning. Mark your calendar now!
We’re a little late to this particular party, but this is fun. With apologies to the original photographers of these classic festival shots (Kevin Stiffler, lawn shot) and Phil Balko (crowd, hula hoop shots).
