Nicky Rhodes ’19 is the Director of Marketing at Atkin Olshin Schade Architects in Philadelphia and the co-founder of Open House, an award-winning design group creating accessible, open-source architecture systems. Passionate about ecological design, Nicky explores materials, technologies, and communities to craft sustainable and meaningful spaces, and is currently involved in numerous construction projects for low-carbon buildings around Pennsylvania. Nicky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Growth & Structure of Cities from Haverford College, where he was president of the Bi-College Architecture Club, a technician at the Maker Arts Space, a student worker at the Arboretum, an Innovations Incubator Fellow, and a Hurford Center Undergraduate Fellow. As a sophomore, he co-led the design and construction of the North Dorms Bus Stop & Bike Shelter, the College’s only student-designed building.
