National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week is here (May 2-8)! It spotlights the importance of caring for every child’s mental health & reinforces that positive mental health is essential to a child’s healthy development. A kid’s mental health is just as important as their physical health. Help & treatments are available. If you are a child or teen, talk to your parents, school counselor, or health care provider. If you are a parent & are unsure where to go for help, ask your pediatrician, family doctor or school counselor.
