Thank you to Ciaran Cannon, Minister for the Diaspora and International Development for the invite to join him on board the LE Samual Beckett on Saturday. It was great to hear about the great work of the Irish Navy and get a good understanding of how the vessel works. Then on Sunday, we had our final practice for the Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival which takes place this Saturday - first race at 8am. Come hang out with us and cheer us along, tent 81 on Kelly Drive.

Great news - next Wednesday, September 4th we will be having our first meeting after the summer break, 7-8.30pm at the Irish Immigration Center. Our first activity will be the Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival - we will be organizing our team and our practice schedule as we prepare for the festival on October 5th.
