Hawthorne Park

ADOPT (part of) HAWTHORNE PARK! Ok, here's your chance to stake a claim! We've set up a system to let people volunteer to maintain a section of the park. Take a look at the map and sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080A4FABAC2EA0FA7-adopt Each section is intended to require a time commitment of no more than15-20 minutes every week or so. Feel free to volunteer for more than one or to sign up with a friend and share the responsibility for a section. Custodians of each section are asked to keep after trash pickup and weeding as necessary in each area. Let's see how this goes and if we find out that more or less time is needed we can adjust the boundaries.
