This past winter I did a challenge where I tried to live off of my pantry for a month. Besides a few small purchases, I actually ended up doing it for two months, almost three! I'm eager to work hard this summer to fill my pantry even more for this coming winter. Are you planning on filling your freezer or pantry with anything in particular this summer to enjoy next winter? https://www.frugallancaster.com//how-to-live-off-of-your-/

Do you know about this local hidden secret? Ken's Educational Joys is another one of the best hidden secrets in Lancaster County in my opinion. It's almost like a mini-Amazon store that features homeschool items, toys, puzzles, crafts, teacher supplies, notecards, books, gifts and moreway better than Walmart or Target in their selection and choices. Every October they offer 20% off EVERYTHING in their store (no returns allowed) including Ticket To Ride, Settlers, Rubik's cu...bes, activity books, brain builders, Melissa & Doug, crafts, science kits, and hundreds of books. Check out our recent visit here >>

The first time I made this recipe, I was amazed at both the flavor and the simplicity of making it! Chop everything, slide it in the oven, blend and you're done?! Yes please! Butternut Squash Soup with Bacon: https://buff.ly/307URht

Hey everyone, I have a little gift for you. Have you heard of Fetch Rewards? If you don't already use the Fetch Rewards app, you really should be, and here's why! -- You get $2 free just for scanning your first receipt.... -- You earn points on EVERY receipt you scan, not just grocery stores. -- You can scan receipts up to two weeks old! -- If you forget to scan for about 3 weeks, they offer you an additional 200-300 points just for coming back and scanning with them again. :) Woohoo! -- You earn extra points for certain brands that are often on sale anyway. I started using Fetch probably 2-3 years ago now and I've redeemed gift cards to Walmart, Target, Amazon and other stores. It's a great way to treat yourself or save up for Christmas gift money. Here's my $2.00 gift for you (after you scan your first receipt) >> https://buff.ly/2Z4W70K

HOMESCHOOL DEAL >> If you are a homeschooler, be sure to check this deal out!! If you have kids in 3rd, 5th or 8th grade, they are required by the state of Pennsylvania to take an achievement test. I use the CAT Online test and there is a great deal on it right now! **Use the code FALL2020 at checkout to purchase your test for just $15!**... I have both a 3rd and 5th grader, so this saved me $20 total, woohoo! The tests are usually $25 each. You can buy it now and have your student take the test at the end of the year. Here's the link >> https://buff.ly/3keBqcQ P.S. I always buy the UNTIMED version, so my kids can take it without the stress and pressure of the clock. Honestly though, I think I do that to eliminate my stress, not theirs, ha! I get stressed thinking about a timed test in case a distraction or something comes up, but knowing that we can test for 20 minutes and then take a break, is especially helpful for one of my children. :) I sometimes tell my children they have a certain amount of time, but I still buy the untimed just in case something weird happens or comes up.
