Grove City College's 2020 Spring Plays are POSTPONED. We are waiting for more information as the school rearranges schedules for all events on campus. In the meantime, enjoy these pictures from a recent rehearsal of "Doubt: A Parable." #gcctheatre #grovecitycollege
In response to COVID-19, the two spring plays "Doubt: A Parable" and "The Christians" have been postponed and will NOT be performed the weekends of March 19-21 and March 27-28. We are currently working on the situation to allow our students the opportunity to perform these plays. We will be posting updates as the situation develops. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Featured Actor: Sean King In the upcoming production of "The Christians," Sean is playing Elder Jay, a spiritually simple and trusting man. However, Elder Jay is a force to be reckoned with in the world of church politics. "I am excited to see the responses this show gets as people consider Pastor Paul's philosophy. I think these shows invite their audiences to consider different perspectives and explore their own doubts." - Sean King, Communications w/ Theatre Class of 2021... Join us March 19-21 at 7:30pm in Ketler Auditorium of PEW Fine Arts Center.
First costume fitting for The Christians by Lucas Hnath at Grove City College. We cannot wait to see these actors and actresses perform March 19-21. To reserve tickets, go to www.gcc.edu/tickets #gcc #grovecitycollege #gcctheatre #thechristians @ Grove City College Theatre
Backed by a live choir, "The Christians" by Lucas Hnath is both lively and unpredictable. Pastor Paul, the charismatic leader of a thriving megachurch, preaches a sermon with the power to shake the foundations of both the church, and his own life. In this award-winning drama, playwright Hnath takes a critical, but compassionate look at the topic of faith and following today, and how who we follow shapes what we believe. Join Grove City College March 19-21 at 7:30pm in Ketler Auditorium of Pew Fine Arts Center.
"Doubt: A Parable" is a Pulitzer winning play by John Patrick Shanley that challenges audiences to question their own sense of certainty. In the play, Sister Aloysius is the greatly feared principal of St. Nicolas Church School in Bronx, New York. After hearing rumors about Father Flynn meeting privately with the school's only black student, Sister Aloysius dives deep into an investigation with the timid Sister James. The play raises questions of doubt within the characters, but it also leaves the audience with their own doubts. Join Grove City College March 19-21 at 5:30pm and March 27-28 at 7:30pm in the Little Theatre of PEW Fine Arts Center.
