I HATE to share something so graphic, but I want people to be aware. YES! Birds of prey can AND WILL take your small pet. And even if they can't get them of the ground the damage from their talons can cause serious damage. This is not a post against birds of prey, this is to remind people to keep your cats inside or build them a catio and always keep a close eye on your small dogs or other small animals.
