Kennedy plans to participate in a recreational soccer league and equine activities during her time there. General McLane High School is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic with Saint Vincent Hospital on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. open to eligible students and the public to administer the Pfizer vaccine.

The General McLane Board of Education will meet virtually for its Monthly Agenda Meeting on Zoom on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend and may choose to speak at this meeting. REMINDER: There will be no school for any General McLane School District students on Monday, January 18, 2021 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

General McLane High School has had 6 COVID-positive or probable cases in the last 14 days, so the building will be temporarily closed Monday and Tuesday. All learning will be virtual for those two days. The high school is usually online Mondays, so that will just be extended one day. In-person classes and extracurriculars will resume on Wednesday. Brooklyn Respecki was named Region 4 Player of the Year and was also named to the All District 10 Small School Team! Teaghan Watkins was also named to the All District 10 Small School Team and to the 1st Team Region 4! Abby Walker was also named to the 1st Team Region 4! Darian Zacherl, Sydney Rotko, Ashley Vorberger, Kellie Kulisec and Payton Massey were all named to the 2nd Team Region 4!

Kristopher Kerr surprised Edinboro Elementary's Savannah Kerr (2nd grade) and Kristopher Kerr (4th grade) at the school's pick-up on Wednesday after being deployed for one year and 8 days in Korea. What an incredible and heart-touching moment. Thank you, Kristopher, for your service and thank you to the Kerr family for the sacrifices you have made! Enjoy the holidays together!
