Gettysburg Campground

Well it has been a long day after Mother Nature took a swing at us yesterday. Thanks to staff, family, friends, and customers, we have the campground ready to go. We are open for camping for self contained RVs. Looking forward to seeing you soon. CDC and PA DOH guidelines still in place.

Well it seems we cannot catch a break this year but it is what it is. COVID-19 has impacted our business as well many other businesses and families. Yesterday, Mother Nature took a good shot at us. Several inches of rain and an already saturated ground got us. After having the campground ready to go we now have to start over. As much as we want to get open for our customers, and for us, we will not be able to. We apologize though we have no control over any of this. We know that most of you will understand this. We will refund any reservation as needed or change your dates. Just let us know via email. Between reduced staffing due to COVID and now this we will be able to respond faster via email. Finally, we have been released to open for recreational camping! This Friday, May 1st will be our opening day and guess what, we have sites available. We are sorting through the restrictions/guidelines and will share later.

Hope everyone is continuing to be safe and healthy. Yesterday our Governor extended the business closure and stay home directive until May 8th. This means that there can be no recreational camping until that date. Only full-time RVers are exempted. Unfortunately there are some campgrounds not abiding by the current mandate and we have no control over what they choose to do. We can only control what we do and that is to continue abiding by the PA policies. We hope you understand.
