We are HAPPY & EXCITED to announce that our inspection has FINALLY been completed and passed with only 2 minor checkmarks that DID NOT cause us to fail our inspection and we will be taking care of them both immediately!! Our inspection report is/will be available for the public to view online but we will also share the report below. We realize these are difficult times for EVERYONE and EVERY business as some are, and will be closing but we have faith in the community of Lewistown,PA and surrounding communities as well as our friends and family that we will be supported and hope that everyone enjoys our food and new ideas creating a unique variety of food that we will be bringing in the very near future. We will also be supporting local businesses as well!! WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL VERY SOON!!

Hello Friends! We finished all the remodeling and we were just a few short days away from getting our inspection and our opening day back in March when the state mandated shut down blocked us. It hasn’t been easy keeping this place for almost 11 months and never opening our doors. The monthly expenses didn’t stop during that time. As much as we would love to just open we have to make sure we are making the right decision whether that would create more expenses for food and op...erating expenses and payroll while we are running appliances and occupying the building during business hours and not bring in enough revenue to cover everything and failing before we even have a chance to open. It is also difficult deciding if we should hold off a little longer so we are not struggling with both the current new health department laws and trying to open a new place of business that is difficult to get off the ground and doing well without having the restrictions that are in place. We have to keep in mind that a menu such as ours with all the unique choices we will be offering will make it difficult for customers to keep coming back on a regular basis as a large part of our menu items are Treat type fair and carnival foods except we will be offering them year round and you wont have to wait till the next carnival, fair, or event to get your favorite carnival and fair foods. We will appreciate very much if you all could help get the word out and give us a chance when we believe it is the best time to take a chance ourselves to hopefully become a new successful unique favorite stop that everyone will find a favorite item off our menu that your taste buds will keep craving. The owners and staff of Good Eats & Treats would like to take this time to thank you all for liking our page and to tell you a little bit about us. We are ahead of schedule as of right now for our Grand Opening on Saturday November 9th, 2019 at 21 N. Dorcas St Lewistown, PA 17044. We will be serving a variety of hot and cold good tasting food and delicious treats from our shop. We will also be encouraging take out and delivery services although eating in will be a option in our warm and welcoming atmosphere. We would like to take this opportunity to ask if there are any suggestions of what food you would like to have available and what hours you would like to see us open.
