It's been three years since I remodeled my kitchen, and here are finally some photos to prove it. The project was such a complete tear down and rebuild that I shipped my family off to my dad's for three months while working on it. Oh, and Corey was pregnant with Augustus at the time! (He and Willow made it into one of the photos). Special thanks to Ken and Clay Hakun for the new cabinets!

While I'm not a roofer per se, here's some new cedar shingles I installed on a porch in Phoenixville a few weeks ago. I wouldn't use cedar on a main roof anymore (unless historically appropriate/required) due to the decline in the quality of cedar combined with its increasingly high price, but on a front porch with open framing below, it's an attractive and relatively durable option.

Complete tear-down and rebuild of a deck on Valley Forge Mountain near the Wharton Esherick Museum. New decking is 100% recycled material, railing is aluminum and stainless steel. Completed summer 2017
