As we approach the November elections it has never been more clear that this country faces upheavals and challenges that will bring about dramatic, lasting, and hopefully vital changes to our nation and its people. Meanwhile, Immigration law is facing incredible challenges and the disparity on immigration policy between the two candidates could not be more severe. Our office has created two policy tables that compare the Trump Administration’s approach to immigration during h...is time in office to Biden's proposed policies. A record 44.8 million immigrants make up 13.7% of the nation’s population as of 2018. Immigration is in the DNA of this country, and now is not the time to turn our back on new Americans. The Trump presidency will inevitably have lasting effects on the U.S. immigration system long after his time in office. However, we can mitigate those effects by VOTING this November. Should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to our office. #Biden #GreenSpiegelUS #Immigration #PresidentialElection #Trump

KEY POINTS: Foreign nationals who wish to travel to the United States from Europe either must fit into one of the travel restriction exceptions or obtain advance permission to board a plane to the U.S. In the alternative, they may travel to a third country and quarantine there for two weeks prior to coming to the United States. The U.S. and overseas partners are anxious to relax those restrictions. Advanced COVID-19 airport testing may provide a solution. We expect so...me testing of these technologies followed by the announcement of new travel protocols in time for the winter holidays. On October 7, 2020 The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced an Interim Final Rule (IFR) designed to tighten the H-1B visa program (and other Labor Condition Applications visa processes) in order to make it more difficult for employers to displace U.S. workers. Prior to Covid19, globalization was already in a period of transition with protectionist policies being put in place, trade wars, tariffs. With the onset of the pandemic, industry has been further impacted. With quarantine policies and border closures in place, companies with locations on both sides of the border have been impacted by the disruption to the flow of people across the border. How will this impact the future of work and the supply of goods ? Register here to find... out: https://bit.ly/3nnlLtz #COVID #GreenSpiegelUS #Politics #Trade See more
