Let's talk about Dental Sealants! Dental sealants are thin coatings that when painted on the chewing surfaces of the molars can prevent cavities for many years. Sealants protect the chewing surfaces from cavities by covering them with a protective shield that blocks out germs and food. Sealants protect against 80% of cavities for 2 years AND continue to protect against 50% of cavities for up to 4 years! Did you know you are supposed to brush your teeth for 2 minutes, but most people only brush for about 45 seconds. According to the American Dental Association, if you brush for 2 minutes as opposed to 45 seconds, you can remove up to 26% more plaque!

Trail Life is an organization that challenges young boys to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills.
