Earth Day is coming April 22. Our good friends and volunteers The Gardeners Of Crooked Billet recommend this video. How can you maintain your own garden/yard/property so that it's most helpful to sustaining the planet? This video tells you how to manage so you can help the pollinators, how you can support the most helpful insects, and more. It's not just the parks and forests that help save the Earth. You can help at home.

Happy National Library Week. It's a beautiful day to come to the library and go on a StoryWalk! Our StoryWalk is located outside of the library. Follow the signs and you can read an interactive story together while also staying socially distanced. Let us know what you think.

We are kicking off National Library Week with our very own StoryWalk! It starts at the side entrance. Follow the markers and read the story. If you visit, post a picture. You can stop by anytime because it's outside. Thanks to Brodie, Ben and Matt for all of their hard work.

We're proud to share with you a plaque in memory of Miss Harriet Ehrsam, who was our Director from 1991-2016. The plaque is in the newly-dubbed Harriet Ehrsam Children's Room. The plaque has an image of Harriet with this inscription: "Many community members who passed through these doors as children will remember Miss Harriet. She greeted them with a smile and called them by name, and her presence made the library a warm and welcoming place."... We hope you'll come see it next time the building is open to the public.
