Let Christmas Break begin!! Today started with Mass. Let us pray and be grateful for everything that we have and everything HCA has overcome in these months. Thank you to our amazing staff, teachers, PTG, SAC, Athletic, coaches, volunteers and so many more. We are thankful for your constant support. Today was also full of fun, movies, stories, puzzles, games and snacks.... Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!! (Now go play in the snow )

7th grade service project to Passavant hospital workers

HCA decorated the halls with the best decoration of all this Advent season - The Christmas Story! The Student Council provided each homeroom with one part of the Christmas Story. The homerooms posted their parts of the story in the hallway and illustrated them, creating a walk-through storybook of the Christmas Story for all the students.

Congratulations to the Varsity North Pittsburgh Catholic Ironmen on their Championship!! We are very fortunate to have some of their athletes at Holy Cross Academy!! Congratulations Boys!!

Saint Nicholas came to Holy Cross today!!!

How can you not want to help our Second Graders on their service project? Look at their signs posted all over the school. They are trying so hard to collect for our local homeless organizations. Let’s try to help the Homeless and the Second Graders.

This year we will be selling Poinsettias, Wreaths and Mantle Swag. Orders are due December 3rd and pickup will be December 11th in the school gym. Prices range from $8.50 - $25.00.

We had a little excitement today at HCA, our power went off for 30 minutes. So when the power goes off, Mrs. O. and Mrs. Brown has a dance party break with the students. (Christmas Music for Kids )

HCA raised $382.00 for Children Grief Awareness. This donation will be given to the Caring Place in Wexford. The children also made blue butterflies in memory of a loved one.

Children's Grief Awareness Day is TOMORROW, November 19. This will be a dress down day for students who bring in $1.00 or more donation for the Caring Place in Wexford. Students must wear a shade of blue when participating.

Loafers Family Night Out - November 17th

Having diligently worked to learn about the lives of saints, fifth graders became saints for the day and shared their life stories going from room to room within the school. They presented the Museum of Traveling Saints following all safety protocol.
