Calling all last minute volunteers! Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 25, we will be doing some spring prep work in our community garden! Stop on over and lend a hand. Our garden is behind the LeMoyne Center on the corner of Forrest Avenue and 6th Street. We'll have gloves and supplies. We just need YOU! Call for Applicants! Did you know our organization provides free home repairs to low-income homeowners who are senior citizens, veterans, or residents who have a permanent physical disability so that they may remain independent? To be eligible, the applicant must be at least 60 years of age, a Veteran, or have a permanent physical disability, they must own and have lived in their home for the past three years, and the total household income must fall at or below 150 percent ...of HUD’s Poverty Guidelines.The home must be located within the City of Washington, Pennsylvania. If you or someone you know meets this requirements, you can find our application on our website. Or you can call us or send us a message of Facebook with a name and address and we will mail you one. Thank you!
