We put her and our home next door The Parsonage up for sale, now that our youngest graduated with honors from William Allen High School - and moving to Easton to shorten our commutes to NYC. Looking forward to the next families who will continue to preserve these architectural and Allentown history treasures as our family has done!

Now that our son graduated with honors from William Allen High School and attending Temple University - selling our beloved family home The Parsonage, like our award winning B&B next door The Historic Benner Mansion - we’ve been restoring back to its former glory. We’ll be moving to Easton to be closer to our jobs in NYC. Good news - after 21 days on the market - have offer for The Historic Benner Mansion from wonderful couple whose lifelong dream is to own a B&B!

With our retirement close at hand and having furloughed The Historic Benner Mansion during these COVID challenging times - we have made the decision to close this chapter in our family’s life. We are now in the process of selling The Historic Benner Mansion and her sister property The Parsonage next door. We are deeply proud that we saved The Historic Benner Mansion and The Parsonage from their former vandalized, boarded up and abandoned status at the gateway of Allentown’...s revitalizing downtown and one block off Millionaires Row. And are hopeful their new owners will give them the time and attention our family did for twenty years. Deepest thanks for all your support over these many years and we look to promising days ahead! Wonderful past wedding at The Historic Benner Mansion. We are using this time to be better than ever before when we are able to re-open. We remain temporarily closed as the impact of CV-19 continues to unfold - and our family works to refund our valued clients who’ve had to cancel their special events and guest stays. We’ll get through these challenging times - together!

The Historic Benner Mansion Inn of Allentown PA wishes everyone’s safety and well-being during these challenging times. Together we will overcome. Over the past 105 years - the mansion has weathered international crisis: two world wars, The Great Depression, Great Recession and 9-11. Together we will transcend today’s great challenge: stay at home, get tested if needed, stay safely connected with friends and family. And know, this too shall pass. Our family and staff look forward to seeing everyone again when it is safe to do so!
