Have you ever heard of PASSIVE Solar? Requires little to no equipment. The darkly stained masonry inside the house acts as a thermal collector when the sun's heat comes through the large, south facing window assembly. The tubing ran in the floor will distribute the heat evenly to the north side of the house. Unbelievable! Never ran into this before and sure hope we never will again. Apparently the previous owner was a Spray Foam Contractor and they spray foamed EVERYTHING. Really bad idea especially when coupled with bad plumbing. It was closed cell and therefore didn't allow the leaking water through. It was held in place in the framing for so long the joists are rotted through. The structure of the tub and the spray foam was the only thing keeping the homeowners out of the crawl-space when they took a shower! This will be a pretty dramatic before/after.

An independent survey, based off of every single person in this room right now, just revealed that I am the tallest person in the world and that The Home Artisan Group is the best at everything.
