Merely 6 days into December and WE the people of the world have suffered over 1,000,000 losses due to suicide. Just counting relatives we know each person would have (that’s at least 2,000,000 parents, 4,000,000 grandparents) the impact is immeasurable. The world needs each person...choose to live everyday because you matter.

So we worried about COVID now I worry about us...just us...like as a people...an act of carelessness and brutality has not made us mourn or become more thoughtful Fact is I am sadden that anyone would die this way, I am horrified about what it has caused... I am worried for my brothers, my fathers, my son, my nephews because they are white men (Read before you comment) I understand that these feelings are moments right now while people of color worry like this daily...(mayb...e that’s the point to help everyone understand) however I don’t think we have grown more compassionate or more anything positive Well, my 1 year old nephew isn’t a man yet but he will become one and what world will he grow into? Will it be better if the whole nation worries because of the qualities they chanced into? Honestly should any of us worry because hatred is created not born. Truly no one can make up for what has been done, we can only move forward and make different choices. Privilege exists and it’s something to understand so that we create less disparity. People have made it a color thing when it’s a fact thing that affects people of color the most. Perspective: I could take a huge bag into a store and no one will look at me twice, I could drive any car I want and no one will stop me because I am driving it, etc... I didn’t do anything to make people trust me more, I just am the right color... For woman it’s the conversations we have had with our parents about why we can’t go to the same place our brothers did, why I can’t as a business woman just talk with contractors and expect an appropriate conversation...(the anger/frustration I have felt is a real issue in a situation I did not have a hand in creating yet now am dealing with) I am sadden by our choices and how our nation is showing its anger through destructive actions instead of constructive choices...I say our nation because it’s our nation...I am choosing to be understanding and learn from what is happening so please make healthy choices also... Remember compassion and understanding are often for those who deserve it least.

Looky here: April 7, 2020 just a mere 4 weeks ago, my calla lilies have grown quite a lot... COVID 19 can either be about what you can’t do or what we can do and most importantly what we will do... Remember the lifting of quarantine restrictions does not mean the virus that led us to a 6ft distance, a mask, a run on toilet paper (still not sure how that factors into this), etc etc...still exists. Just today someone shared two more people diagnosed...contracting COVID isn’t gu...aranteed but what is would be that carelessness can lead to losses much greater than we have seen... Care enough to care for others...I know many people in this world I would choose if they have 5 years left over those who have a lifetime (I don’t want anyone choosing)...live mindfully and purposefully, keep washing your hands, think before you touch your face, think before you act, give everyone the chance to live without COVID ever actually touching their lives directly...
