Howard Rovner, Esq. 07.01.2021

Such a busy day today working from home. Began the day with an 8:30 am video conference. After that I had a 10:30 telephonic hearing with a Workers Compensation Judge in a Claim Petition. Next a 11:45 video meeting using zoom with a networking group, BHBC. Then I had 3 telephone conferences with a Judge from Bucks county where I was asking for an Emergency Order in a Family Law case. I received the Emergency Injunctive Relief before 5pm. Then I had a 5pm telephonic deposition with an Orthopedic surgeon in a Workers Compensation case. Long day, alot accomplished. Now finally relaxing and getting ready for tomorrow. Stay safe, stay home, stay healthy!!!

Working from home. Settled a Workers Compensation case on Friday and we have arranged with the Workers Compensation Judge to have a telephonic hearing on Friday morning to ask the Judge to approve the settlement so I can get my client her money as soon as possible. This is an example of what I try and do to help my clients the best I can, even during these difficult times.

Although my law office has to close due to the Corona virus and the Governor's Order, if anyone needs any legal help, you can email me at [email protected] or call me at 215-820-9149. I am available to help you. Be safe, keep your distance, and stay home unless you work in a life sustaining business. Howard

With everything that is going on with the coronavirus, and with Montgomery County essentially shutting down, if you live in PA, you may want to take advantage of our new voting procedures which allow you to obtain a ballot by mail and vote from home, by mail, instead of having to go to the polling place to vote. You can go to: votespa.com and request a mail in ballot. If you are going to be out of the area on election day, April 28, you should ask for an absentee ballot. Remember to complete the ballot when you receive it and return it to the county before election day. You must be registered to vote and need your driver's license number when completing the request, which must be sent in before April 21.
