I can't tell you how many times Brides come to see me and have been told by other seamstresses that their hemlines could NOT be raised because of the horsehair braid detail; or that it had to be removed permanently because it could not be reapplied back on once removed...UGHHHH!!! #1. I'm going to say that they don't know how to do their job and do not possess the skills.. AND/OR #2. This is one of the coolest bridal gowns I've ever seen But, the client was drowning in the length of the hemline. I raised the entire front hem(which consisted of multiple panels), created a train with length in the back and then added a bustle to the length which would get all that fabric out of the way when she was ready to party SWIPE FOR A PROGRESSION #progression
