Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health has announced new restrictions that impact our programs and events. The restrictions outlined below will take effect on Friday, November 20, 2020 and will remain in place through at least January 1, 2021. ... Restricted: All recreational programs, with the exception of Access Centers, are suspended. This includes: Afterschool Unplugged; teen programs; outdoor programs; Environmental Education Center programs; ice rinks, and indoor programs. No new event permits will be issued, including private event permits and outdoor recreational athletics permits. All current permits are temporarily suspended. No group sports allowed at parks and recreation facilities. No competitive sports allowed at parks and recreation facilities. Allowed: Parks, trails, and playgrounds remain open. Athletics courts and fields remain open for individual and household use. Access Centers will remain open for individual and household use. The Organic Recycling Center can remain open, with COVID-19 safety restrictions in place. Grab-and-go meal service at select Older Adult Centers. Parks & Rec @ Home and other virtual events to engage residents. Community gardens and farmers markets can operate, with COVID-19 safety restrictions in place

Jardel Summer Camp had a fun busy summer tie dying, painting, sports, movies, gardening, and much more! To end the summer the kids played and had a treat! *mask were worn other than to eat and drink
