We are ready to re-open tomorrow May 1st. Our office hours will continue to be same. We will open tomorrow for normal business at 745 am. Our hours of operation will continue to be Monday's 800 to 630, Tuesday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's 800 to 400, and Friday's 800 to 100. Our office number remains the same and is 717-485-4434.... We still have some minor remodeling occuring. Namely our new sign will be installed in the very near future. Please bear with us as well iron out the last few details. I would like to thank my staff and Mary Dziedzic (former employee!), for a job well done. Without your all help, this would not be possible. Thanks yet again for being the great team you all are. So, we look forward in helping you at the new office. If you want a peak at the new office, please feel free to stop in and see us. I would also like to reach out acknowledge everyone whom worked on the new the new office and personally say it looks great. I will be posting in greater detail to all of those who been involved. Things are coming together quickly down at the new office! Here are some more progress photos!

Moving Dates are more formalized for relocating to 105 South Third Street McConnellsburg. The office will be closing on April 25, 2018 at 12:00 pm. We will be re-open for normal business on May 1, 2018 at 8:00 am. We will have very limited resources to conduct business while we are closed. We will be relocating phone and computer systems. We will also be transporting and setting up all of the equipment during this time as well. In the event of an emergency, you can leave ...a message on Dr. Lane's cell phone at 717-860-8626. In case you haven’t heard, we are moving! Our new office will be located inside the previous McDonald’s Pharmacy building. We are currently renovating as you can see below! Our grand opening will be May 1st! We will still be seeing patients in our current location through the 25th of April. We will keep you posted as the office starts to come together!

Think online eye exams are the way to go? Well I'm here to tell you why its not a good idea. Yes, it may seem more convenient but in the long run it could cost you your vision. We do not simply just get your prescription. When you come to our office you get a comprehensive eye exam. Yes we fit you for glasses and contacts but we do so much more. You may feel that your vision has not "changed" but that doesn't mean that your ocular health isn't at stake. For example, many pa...tients wearing contacts feel they do not need to be seen every year. Contacts are considered a medical device. Yes, you heard me right. Misused they can starve your eye of oxygen and cause the cornea to swell. This leaves an open gate for bacteria to make itself at home inside your cornea. Contact lenses need to be fit properly in order to provide the best vision and to keep your eyes as healthy as possible! After getting your prescription we then check for other ocular diseases that a lot of the time show no symptoms to you. We check for glaucoma, diabetes and autoimmune diseases just to name a few. We can tell all this from looking at your eyes! Needless to say, please don't sell yourself short when it comes to your eyes; you only have two! Take the best care of them and get a routine comprehensive exam!

Unable to wear contacts and your glasses constantly fogging up with your mask on! I have antifog wipes available at the office. 3 wipes (30 lens treatments) for $5.00.

Back to school is only 4 weeks away. Remember to get your students in for an eye examination. Clear vision is such an important part of learning. College students remember to get your eye examination before returning back to college. Dr. Lane has plenty of appointments available before the start of school, however those appointments are filling up fast. We can expedite your back to school eye care needs. We will be closed the week of August 10th through August 18th for vacation. We are open Monday 8-6 Tuesday through Thursday 8-4, and Friday 8-1. Enjoy the rest of your Summer!
