MagicBands make each visit even simpler and more seamless. But soon, Disney will be debuting a new option... Disney MagicMobile service! Launching in phases starting later this year, Disney MagicMobile service is a convenient and contactless way to access MagicBand features like theme park entry through the power of an iPhone, Apple Watch or other smart device. Guests will be able to create a Disney MagicMobile pass through the My Disney Experience app and add it to their sm...art device’s digital wallet. It works like magic most features will be available by just holding up your smart device near an access point, just like you do with a MagicBand. Disney MagicMobile service and its features will roll out first on Apple devices. Guests may choose to use Disney MagicMobile service or a MagicBand pick whichever option works best during their visit. They can even use both and alternate between the two for added flexibility. The existing digital room key feature will continue to be available specifically within the My Disney Experience app, which helps guests expedite their arrival by using online check-in service, going directly to their Disney Resort hotel room and using their phone to unlock their door. Disney Resort hotel guests may also still pick up a Key to the World card at their convenience by visiting the front desk. See more

The 4 park 1 day challenge is back! On January 1, 2021 park hopping became available for the first time since the parks closed. Upon the reopening guests are required to make a park reservation for the park they wish to explore that day. ... Park reservations are still required for the first park you want to visit and you must enter before hopping to your next park. After 2pm, you can enter a second, third, or fourth park! The #4parkchallenge is back! To check park capacity you can call 407-560-5000 for a live update. And that’s it! It is quite simple. Make a park reservation, enter that park, at 2 pm call to check capacity, hop to the next park! Now the question is, is it worth it? The answer is very individualized. Beginning Oct. 1, Walt Disney World Resort will throw The World’s Most Magical Celebration in honor of our 50th anniversary, bringing new experiences to our four theme parks and beyond. This milestone is such a big deal, Disney has even coined a new word EARidescence!!! As part of the celebration, Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park will add to its royal makeover from last year. The castle will feature golden bunting and a 50th anniversary crest as part of its fes...tive new look. The castle will add even more magic at night, joined by icons at each of the other three theme parks as they transform into Beacons of Magic, including pixie dust on Cinderella Castle, magical fireflies inhabiting the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and special new touches coming to life on the Hollywood Tower Hotel at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. At EPCOT, new lights will shine across the reflective panels of Spaceship Earth, connecting to one another and resembling stars in a nighttime sky. This permanent new lighting will continue beyond The World’s Most Magical Celebration as a defining feature of the park. Guests will also want to keep an eye out for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, who will have sparkling new looks for the celebration.
