I honestly cannot believe I am writing this less than 3 full days post surgery, but we are going home!! Noah slept great last night and his mobility has improved dramatically today! He’s repositioning himself in bed without help and walked the entire length of our room without any assistance! His determination to get stronger so that he can get home is like nothing I’ve ever seen and I couldn’t be more amazed with his strength. We’re raising a real life super hero and... the pride I have being this child’s mother is the most fulfilling feeling I could ever ask for. We have a long road to recovery, but there isn’t a doubt in my mind that Noah will be back to running around in no time! As far as follow up treatment goes, we still have yet to make a final decision. We’ve sent samples of the tumors to have several genetic tests completed to try and get more information about possible treatment options that may be useful to keep the cancer from coming back again. We’ll follow up with our oncology team in Georgia, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia in the coming days/ weeks to make a final decision. Most importantly we’re going to go home and get Noah back on his feet so that he can continue to live a life full of happiness! First day of school. We had them get on the bus and we have remote learners today!! Best of luck to all students and families. A big shout out to the teachers!! Mandi Williams!!!

Fun summer ending party today! We played in the bouncy house that is also a water slide! We danced thanks to DJ Mike Mason!! We had balloon art from Weird Eric.. we eat great food and had cotton candy from a machine that I made. Thank you to all who participated and helped with the party. This was a good one.
