And he didn’t necessarily share that. And Jace was never really much of a talker so when something like that was a huge burden on him, he didn’t know how to share it. It was 17 years ago today,June 13th 2003,,when I graduated from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology with my Doctorate in Psychology. I am so grateful and thankful for this work, the colleagues and friendships I’ve made over this time and more recently the associates I’ve brought onto the team at my practice. I truly feel privileged in every way to do this work and I cannot imagine doing anything else for a profession that could give me the kind of feeling of fulfillment I ...receive doing this work. During the past 3 plus months under COVID it has strengthened my view of why counseling, mental health, and support are so essential for many of us. Counseling gives each of us an opportunity to look deep inside ourselves so that we can grow, heal, and learn. I’m looking forward to the next few decades of this work where I will also grow, heal and learn. See more
