Hello everyone - today we were notified that Camp Victory has cancelled their camp season for 2021. This unfortunately also includes KDKC. We support Camp Victory in this decision, as we didn’t see a path forward to have a great, high energy camp while also practicing masking and social distancing to keep everyone safe. Stay tuned, as we will soon roll out our plans for 2021 virtual camp and a possible reunion event over the summer if conditions permit. Until then mask up, practice social distancing and get the vaccine when it’s your turn. The sooner we get done with this the sooner we can get back to camping.

Happy World Diabetes Day, camp family! We see you, we hear you, and we miss you! We celebrate YOU, and the incredible things our camp family endures, tackles, and survives every single day. We can’t wait to be together again!

We are excited to be partnering with the College Diabetes Network to hold this event for future T1D college students and their parents! Penn State and Shippensburg University CDN are holding an event for type one diabetics and their parents who are interested in attending college after high school. During this event, there will be opportunities to hear from current and former T1D college students and ask questions about their experiences. Going to college can be full of worri...es (with or without diabetes), so we'd love to provide this resource for anyone who wants to prepare for this chapter of life. We are planning on virtually hosting this event on March 20th at 2PM Eastern via Zoom. Please fill out this google form if you are interested in attending so we can keep you up to date with information regarding this event. If you are interested in learning more or volunteering, please fill out the form below and we'll reach out with more information.
