Keystone family - Update and Answers We are still a go for this weekend with your help. We will be practicing social distancing rules and have added a Covid pa...ge to our website if you have any questions. Of course, if there is anything specific that you have a question about, feel free to private message us at Keystone Barrel Classic. We still have a waitlist for stalls - if anyone's plans for this weekend have changed and would like to move or have their stalls refunded, today is the last day to do so. We need to give those people on the waitlist time to make plans. Our online entry forms have been added to our website for those of you who want to use PayPal (remember send as Friends and Family) under the Entry page to avoid additional fees. There are cutoff timelines for each days entries if you are using the online system (9:00 PM Friday for Saturday Open Draw) and (9:00 PM Saturday for Sunday Open Draw). Thank you to my early testers for helping me make sure they are working properly. I ask for everyone's patience as I have just developed this new system but, so far, I think it will work. Once we get a show under our belt, we will review and improve. We are always open to suggestions so please feel free to help us improve our process. Our show office will be open as usual (no hugs just waves) and we are still taking cash entries at the window. We will start taking entries on Friday, so if you are not an early riser and want to be in the draw on Saturday or Sunday, we suggest you do your entries on Friday and relax. Cutoff times for those of you entering at the show to be in the Open is 7:30AM both days as our show will start at 9:00 AM sharp. There are no exhibitions on Saturday or Sunday but we will have an open arena from 6:00AM to 8:00AM. All exhibitions will be on Friday, starting at 3:00 PM until ??. We will stop exhibitions on Friday to run Pole exhibitions at 7:30 with the Pole class to follow. We will restart barrel exhibitions again if there is anyone who still wishes to do so. There are no time slots for Friday - just come to the show office, purchase your tickets, and head to the arena when you are ready. Again, there will be limitations on the number of horses in the holding pen so we ask for your patience. You can come in on Friday anytime after 1:00 so you will have plenty of time to get settled. And, the big question, do we have to leave for food if we don't like what we brought? Nope - The KEYSTONE KAFE is under new management (sort of - John and Jeanie are back better than ever) and has been revamped with new takeout windows, etc. If you are hungry for breakfast, burgers, cheesesteaks, pizza, fries, pulled pork and more awesome homestyle cooking, you can stay in your comfy pants and eat at home (well your trailer but it's home for the weekend). As you can imagine, there are a lot of moving pieces right now so we are going to ask a favor - if you have any questions, we are here to help. We are just going to ask that you only private message the Keystone Barrel Classic page or text our contact number. Please don't message Steve or I privately - it might get missed and we don't want that to happen. Our Keystone page makes it easier for us to review and respond to all of your questions quickly. And, we are asking for everyone's help this weekend - please practice social distancing and the guidelines we will have posted so that horse shows will be a thing of the future, not a thing of the past. We know things will be different for a bit but this virus is not going to change our friendly, family atmosphere. How do we know?? Because our Keystone Family is the best!!! We are so excited...Can't wait to see you all...We can do this! P.S. A big shout out to all of our essential workers that have tried to keep this country alive. If you know of someone whose been tirelessly working to provide us what we need, take a minute to thank them for all their sacrifices.

Keystone Family - We have decided to keep our Keystone Family safe and are cancelling our April show. Anyone that has a deposit in for stalls and hookups will ...automatically get that moved and will be guaranteed for our May 9th and 10th show. Hopefully, all of this quarantining has many of you able to get your horses ready for show season. Please everyone - wash your hands and practice social distancing. The sooner our country gets this under control, the sooner we all go back to work and life. As for me, left to my bad eating habits while at home, please don't judge when you see me in yoga pants for the season!!! Stay well - Stay safe - See you in May! See more

Hello, hope everyone is staying warm! We have scheduled two clinics and open arenas the first one this Saturday, February 22 and the second for Saturday, Mar...ch 21st. We are filling up quickly for the March 21st clinic and had feedback on the open arena in March but have limited interest in the one scheduled for this Saturday as many of you have told us you are not ready yet to start riding (I know I’m not lol). We would like anyone who is planning on coming this weekend, for either the Clinic, which must be prepaid, or the open arena to message us here at Keystone Barrel Classic so we can make a decision on whether we should cancel the February 22nd date. If you have prepaid for your clinic, we will move it to March. We will make a final decision on Wednesday based on your input. Thanks and if any of you see that groundhog in Punxsutawney, tell him if he isn’t going to give us snow, then he needs to stop sending rain too!!!! See more

Update - Open Arena Cancelled - Pennsylvania's Governor Wolf has mandated that all non life-sustaining businesses must close as of 8:00 PM tonight. While we all think riding is life sustaining, we are being forced to cancel this Saturday's open arena. Hopefully, with all of these closures, it will help our country to get a hold on this virus so that we can all get back to normal sooner rather than later. With all of the exposure we horse lovers have, we should have all succumbed to E.coli by now! Be safe, keep a sense of humor and wash your hands!! We will see you in April (stalls are selling fast) - we can't wait!!!

Good morning everyone - had a few people ask me about our Photographer here this weekend. You can find Lance Jeffrey on Facebook or his link on smugmug.com to find his action shots of your runs this weekend. However a reminder to everyone - Lance’s photos are copyrighted which means you cannot copy, use or post them without payment. We do not pay Lance for his professional services. He is here when the first horse enters until the last horse ends our shows every day and w...ith our cold weather this weekend, we appreciate that he does provide this service for our riders. He makes his living from selling his incredible photos so please make sure you purchase your favorites before you post them. We ask anyone who has mistakenly posted their photos with the copyright mark to please remove them to be in compliance with copyright laws. Thanks so much for supporting Lance and a big thanks to Lance for being at all our shows and photographing our Keystone Family. See more
