Service will take place in summer school programming within the Millcreek School District Schedule: Full Time Hours Mon- Fri (occasional evening or weekend hours) Term: May 17th - Aug 13th Gross Living Allowance: $700 (received twice a month)... Education Award: $1,638.89 AmeriCorps Members services may include: Focused academic assistance, One-on-one/small group instruction, RTI Model, credit recovery, Title 1 remediation and support, Standardized test preparation, STEM activities, and progress monitoring Capacity building services related to COVID-19 Meal distribution and delivery Creation of learning packets for children to be utilized via distance learning AmeriCorps Members Receive: A regular income monthly Federal student loans postponement Interest for student loans paid upon completion Money for education expenses upon completion Experience providing academic support Act 48 Credits (PA Certified teachers) Individual health care if needed Childcare assistance if income eligible Hands-on experience and portfolio development A lifetime of service family and friends!
