28 weeks and 5 days!!! SAY WHAT!? . . Less than a month and a half to two months and these beans are considered full term! .... . How does this make me feel, you ask!? Excited, nervous, anxious... all the things!! . . I want them to be here ASAP so we can see them, hold them, and love on them 24/7 but then on the other hand I need them to stay in there as long as possible so they have the proper amount of time to grow and be healthy! . . I just got a call this morning that after reviewing yesterday's sono and they want to start doing weekly sono check-ins and a non-stress test because they are measuring on the small side. . . These appointments will check in on them and for different things that they are doing like breathing and things like that. . . This is where I need to focus on the facts. The fact that God has had His hand on these sweet babes' lives from the day they were conceived and the fact that He promises to finish a good work that He has started. . . His word is true, and that is where my hope lies! . . "Lord I know you have your hand on these babies, I pray that you just ease my mind and that you continue to do your work. You have already formed them into such beautiful, complex children, help me to lean on that fact and know that you are growing them into healthy children made in your image. Give us peace and let us turn to you in every situation. Bumpin into the new year with ZERO huge goals and expectations! . Yup! You heard me right!! . .... 2021 is going to be a year of so many changes and so much learning, and if I'm being honest, my big goal is just to make it through with as little tears and stress as possible! . . I made 24 BIG work commitments prior to finding out we would be welcoming two perfect little children to our family. . . When I take on a venture, I do it 100%! So you had better believe that I will follow through with giving 24 couples the best experience ever while giving my two children my whole entire heart and soul, and don't forget trying to be the best wife for the love of my life. . . It's going to be a lot, but with the Lord's help, I know it's all going to work out just fine! . . "And unto us, a child is born" What an amazing gift God gave the world in the form of a baby boy. This baby boy would grow up to be the light of the world and the savior of a dark, dark world. He's a life-giver and loves to give his children the best gifts imaginable!... We are still in awe of the wonderful gifts he has given us. Next year, Ray and I will both have an arm full as we gathered around the Christmas tree reading about the great miracle of Jesus's birth and what the true meaning of Christmas is. We cant wait to start making memories with these two and pray that we grow closer and closer to Christ so we can raise them in a way that is honoring to the one that gave us life.
