A couple of weeks ago KCWS participated in the 6th annual Carol Night where all the sports teams gathered to raise money for Toys for Tots. Each team was assigned a song that they performed and we partnered up with @kcmensoccer to do so! All of the King’s athletic teams ended up raising 1,238 dollars total. A fun event for a good cause!!!! #kcws
The STUDENT always comes first in student athlete and all of our athletes have big goals they are chasing after their time on the soccer field ends. Here is what sophomore PA major Maddie hopes to do after college! : So far at King’s, I have loved the work I have been able to do in the PA program! I chose PA because of the many directions I can take after college and the many specialties to choose from. After college, I am excited to choose my specialty! I am not exactly sure which direction I would like to take yet, but I look forward to doing clinical work to figure it out. So far I have been working as a medical assistant in dermatology, but I am also excited to explore other options! King’s is also well known for its 5 year accelerated PA program :) !!!
Some of our super smart and studious players studying up for their finals Today was the official last day of the fall 2021 semester!! We will sure miss all our monarchs on campus #kcws
When preparing for finals week, it’s important to use all the resources that your campus provides. One the best services that King’s offers is the tutoring center!!! With both drop in tutoring and one-on-one appointments, it is easy and encouraged to seek out help in any class you need. Also shoutout to Shay, Tara, and Loryn who just so happen to be tutors Study hard monarch nation!!! #kcws

Up in the gym just working on our fitness, Coach B’s our witness
Happy Sunday everyone!! Something super awesome about King’s is that we have our very own church on campus! With services catered for student availability (8pm Mass on Sunday’s!) and tons of opportunities to get involved, campus ministry does an amazing job always trying to work with students. It’s a super welcoming environment and it’s even better when you can go with some of your teammates
HAPPY THANKSGIVING We went around this past week and asked some of our awesome players what they’re thankful for and this is what they said Wishing everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!! #thankful #kcws

Here at King’s College we put the student in student athlete. Here is how junior goalkeeper Tara balances being a mechanical engineering and physics double major with a minor in mathematics, a tutor, and an athlete! I am able to be a successful student-athlete by managing my time and using the resources the college provides me. I schedule out my week by including my practice times, class times, tutoring times, assignments that are due, and the dates of my exams. By planning out my weeks, it helps me to manage my time and be both a successful student and athlete. It’s also so nice when your teammate has the same major too! Helping each other on the field and in the classroom (Shay and Tara are both engineering and physics double majors!!). Happy halfway through the semester!! #kcws
