Your intention behind starting your business shows - so make it a good one. Simply starting a business to bring in more money isn’t going to sustain your motivation in the long run, and will probably lead to you being less passionate about what you do.

Five things you SHOULD be doing on Instagram for your business. - Reply to comments and DMs - keep the conversation going and engage with your audience! - Use hashtags - hashtags allow your posts to reach a much wider audience who aren’t already following you. You can use up to 30, so go for it! - Have a consistent theme throughout your posts - use the same color palette, presets can help keep your photos looking cohesive.... - Write long captions - give your audience some value. Offer tips, share a story, give some more substance than just a few emojis. - Have an informative profile - be clear about what exactly your business is about in your bio, and add a relevant link! If a potential customer clicks on your profile and can’t immediately see what your business is, they’ll most likely click away. Did you find these tips helpful? Save this post for later!

How do I get the blue checkmark on Instagram? This is a question I get a lot. The blue check you see often next to a celebrity or large account means the account has been verified by Instagram that it is authentic. So how do you get it?... You can request to get verified by: - Click the menu button in the top right corner of your profile - Click settings > account > request verification - Complete the form And that’s it! Instagram requires your account to be authentic, unique, complete, and notable to be verified, so if your account doesn’t meet one of these standards you may not be approved. Read more about how to get verified on my blog post: https://www.karenjseymour.com/how-to-get-verified-blue-che/
