We wanted to clarify a myth of Valentine's Day that has existed since modern commercializion. You don't need to be dating or to be a couple to celebrate. Legend tells of St. Valentine who wrote the jailer's daughter a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell before his execution. If you have sacrificed yourself out of love for another, no matter the circumstances, this holiday is for you.

Part of history, making history. This photo was taken a year ago today. So much has changed and yet there is so much more to go. Klavon's has been around for almost a 100 years. We expect it to last another 100. We are optimistic for what the future holds and this shop's place in it.

Try an old standby recipe from typical household ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup egg yolks (pasteurized)... 1/2 you favorite jam or jelly Mix until 'fluffy' (KitchenAid or blender makes life eaiser) Put in a container and freeze for at least 3 hours Happy New Year Everyone!
