Josh has been a part of our Kreider Farms tea for about a year now, and as our Transportation Operations Manager, he oversees managing the operations process, planning, control, performance improvement and operations strategy within our Transportation and Distribution Department. One of the most important parts of his position is coordinating with operations and sales teams to ensure that orders are fulfilled to customer expectations while also maintaining efficiency and safe...ty. Josh appreciates the collaboration here at Kreider Farms and that everything we do matters. In Transportation specifically, things are always changing and evolving, and the team and family culture here helps make it all achievable. When he’s not at work, Josh enjoys the outdoors, traveling, golfing and beach life with hai wife and two dogs: Charlie and Cooper! Evan is a Pullet Caretaker at our Cage Free pullet facility. The birds arrive here after they hatch and are raised by Evan and his coworker for the next 4 months before we transfer them to our main laying houses. Evan says that raising chicks is like watching after kids, ensuring that they have enough food and water and maintaining comfortable living standards. Evan appreciates that even though he is often working alone, he can still count on others within the company for support and help when it’s needed. Outside of work, Evan is very hands on and spends his time fixing tractor tires, old cars and any kind of mechanical work. Last Friday we celebrated at the last of our locations for our two week long employee appreciation lunches; Manheim Egg. Despite the dreary weather, we cooked out and stayed dry with great company. Congratulations to the whole team and thank you for all that you do!
