Kutztown University is one of three local colleges to receive scholarship funds from the Air Products Foundation. This grant award, totaling $50,000, will provide 10 scholarships for minority or female students from three local colleges. On this day in 1969, Kutztown State College’s men’s basketball team played an away game against Mansfield State College. Unfortunately, the Golden Bears lost to... MSC by a score of 93 to 68. I recently found and digitized an original reel of 16mm film that includes highlights from this game. The entire video is included in this post. Kutztown’s players are wearing dark uniforms, Mansfield’s team is in white.
