Advocate for the arts in Philadelphia In May of this year, Pennsylvania received $3.9 billion under the federal CARES Act. Of that $3.9 billion, Pennsylvania has $1 billion remaining. Citizens for the Arts in Pennsylvania is asking you to reach out to your members of the PA General Assembly and ask them to support the arts sector in Pennsylvania by: 1) Providing $20 million for grants to the arts through the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts ... 2) Providing $100 million for grants to performing arts venues through the Save Our Stages Grant program (HB 2894). Your support matters. Please take a few minutes to compose a handwritten note, make a brief telephone call, or send an email asking your legislators to include this funding in the remaining $1 billion of the CARES Act.
