The LTPTO will be gifting each student and faculty member an end of the year SPIRIT SHIRT. Please keep an eye on your students backpack next week. We hope everyone has had a wonderful school year! *please note tie dye is for 6th grade only, K-5th will receive solid neon.

The PTO purchased shirts for all students in the Elementary as a Holiday gift. Students attending class have already received their shirt. This pick up is for virtual students so they can receive their shirt that was ordered for them

How Does This Mini Pantry Work? This mini pantry is an easy way for neighbors to help neighbors who need food, hygiene, or paper items. Even though its home is ...at the Benton Township Community Center grounds, this mini pantry belongs to all of us. Please take care of it and the space around it. Tidy the mini pantry if it needs it. If you can, clean up spills, and please don’t litter. Give what you can by placing food, hygiene, or paper items inside the mini pantry. Give what you would want to receive. An easy rule of thumb: buy extra of what you buy your household. No gift is too small. A single can of green beans can help. Items should be unexpired and in good condition. Take what you need. If you find items inside and you need them, take them and know we care about you. Please remember the mini pantry belongs to all of us and take only those items you need, trusting the mini pantry will be here for you again.

Update! The principal at Trail just announced that the parade will start at 7:30. We will post here when it actually starts rolling, somewhere between 7 and 7:3...0. Stay tuned!! It's time for a parade! The Lackawanna Trail Regional Fire Companies are excited to celebrate the Lackawanna Trail Class of 2020! On Friday, June 12th we will have a parade of fire apparatus and seniors in their vehicles through Nicholson, Factoryville, Dalton, and Fleetville. The exact route is below. We encourage the community to come out and line the route. Dress in your LT colors, bring your noise makers, cow bells, pom poms, and signs to show your love of our graduating seniors! Please remember to wear your face masks and social distance along the route as much as you can. Each senior student will be allowed one vehicle in the parade. Please decorate your vehicles as you see fit. Parade participants will be meeting at the high school parking lot immediately following the Class Night Zoom Celebration, at approximately 7 - 7:30 pm. The fire trucks will lead the way and there will be police/fire police at several locations as necessary to hold traffic for the entire parade to stay together. If all seniors participate we could have 100 firetrucks and vehicles in this parade! The parade is set to kick off at 7 PM. Here is the route we will follow Proceed down the hill from high school and left onto 11 North to Nicholson. Exit Route 11 in Nicholson and travel 92 south to Bacontown Road (State Route 1017). Left onto Bacontown Road. Follow Bacontown Road to end and turn right onto 11 south back past Tunnel Hill Road. Continue Route 11 south and exit on College Avenue (first exit before Bluebird Diner). Proceed down College Ave past Elementary School, continue down College Avenue, and get back on Route 11 south at Keystone. Proceed 11 south to Dalton and exit at Dalton turning left onto Main Street. Go through Dalton and proceed on SR 632 to Waverly Corners. Left at Waverly Corners onto Route 407 north past Lackawanna State Park and then onto Fleetville. Left onto Route 107 to Route 6. Right onto Route 6 west/11 north then back to high school.
