American Legion Post 139 of Milford,PA

Happy Thanksgiving to all. We hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather and had a nice family day. We are so very thankful to all our sponsors and our community.

With the holidays approaching and many people still traveling and having get togethers we collectively decided that we will resume our Friday night takeouts in January. We will take the month of December off. We want to continue to keep our volunteers and community safe. The spike in Covid cases has us very concerned. We will over come this just has we have done in the past 8 months. Your continued amazing support has helped us be able to close for a few weeks to continue to keep everyone safe. We are so sorry for this delay in our take out dinners but we will be back strong soon. Have a blessed Thanksgiving and be safe.

Mary took dinners to Port Jervis. Lenny took dinners to Dingmans. Gene took dinners to Matamoras. Jim took dinners to Milford. Jojo and Tom took 94 dinners to Heritage, Ava and Frank took dinners to Delaware Run, Dave and Sue took dinners to Shohola. This is what you call a family. Many other members took dinners to their elderly neighbors. Never under estimate the power of family. Keep up the faith and happiness. Thank you volunteers for doing such a good deed. We love you all.

Holy moly. 205 deliveries today and in total with take out 430+ dinners out the door today to our amazing community. Our annual Thanksgiving give back was a success. Many, many volunteers made this happen. Thank you all. Thank you to all our sponsors thru out.
