The Lanacaster Ice Rink will re-open on Monday, January 4th. The same COVID-19 restrictions will be in place as were when the rink was closed on December 12th.

Lancaster Ice Rink Adult Hockey League Upcoming Seasons: Winter Season Start Date: mid January Season Length: 16 games plus playoffs Team Fee: $4500 / Free Agent Sign up (Draft/Fee $15)... USA Hockey Registration required Teams Responsible for Team Jerseys Division: (A) Advanced (Players typically 40 & under with Pro/College/Junior experience, AAA/AA Youth Travel experience Division: (B) Intermediate (Players with limited Youth Hockey experience, Players newer to hockey, Older players (over 40) with A or B level Adult Hockey experience. Free Agent Skate with Captains Draft Games Mon-Sunday (1-2 games per week) Reasonable start times League App to follow team schedule, standings, stats and more Registration deadline for Teams and Free Agents is Sunday, January 3rd. We hope everyone is staying safe during the unprecedented time. During this time our GM Spencer has been quite busy. When the time comes, we'll be ready for our... players. So what's been happening, well... Scrubbed the entire facility. Building interior has been painted New public skating ticket booth built Locker rooms & showers cleaned Outside of building power washed Garage doors painted (This week!) We look forward to seeing all of you once this is over, until then stay safe and look out for each other.

COVID-19 UPDATE - LANCASTER ICE RINK CLOSED yesterday (March 16), PA Governor Tom Wolf announced a commonwealth-wide shutdown of all non-essential businesses for two weeks. In light of this development, the LCYAHL Board of Directors has decided to close the Lancaster Ice Rink. All programs are postponed until the rink re-opens. The LCYAHL Board of Directors will closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and will make a decision to re-open the facility based on government direc...tion. We will communicate updates as needed. Dear Family, Friends and Supporters of the Lancaster Ice Rink, Lancaster Firebirds and the RRFSC, It is after many discussions and careful deliberations, that the LCYAHL Board has decided to postpone the 9th Annual Fire & Ice Bingo which was to be held tomorrow, March 15th at Lancaster Farm & Home Center. Our commitment and responsibility to our community, our concern for the health and welfare of our family/community volunteers and participants, along with our effort to fol...low the guidelines that have been set forth, have led us to this difficult decision. A decision regarding our alternative plans will be posted in the near term. Please remember that the LCYAHL and Lancaster Ice Rink are not-for-profit, which means we rely heavily on the ticket sales and the proceeds from this event to help us fund community programs at the rink such as Public Skate, Learn to Skate, Try Hockey for Free, Open Hockey and many others. If this event is not rescheduled and/or our alternative date does not work for you, we kindly ask you to consider your pre-purchased ticket as a tax-deductible donation to LCYAHL. Should you wish to request a refund for your ticket, please email [email protected]. Further instructions with then be communicated.
