We wanted to share this with you earlier, but were waiting for the details of Garry's service. Our current membership roster was notified of Garry's passing in December. You will remember that Garry Gourley passed away in December. He was unselfishly dedicated to the Lancers since the 1970's. Garry played soprano bugle, served on the Lancers board of the competitive corps, coordinated the DCI show the Lancers presented many years ago, and most recently handled our uniforms... and souvenir items at shows. Garry's wife, Marty, marched with the Lancers as well, and preceded him in death a few years ago. Garry thought of the Lancers as his family. His memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 18th @ 2pm at the Mt. Zion Cemetery, 6074 Mount Zion Road, Waynesboro, PA . Garry will be missed, and I'm sure many of those who knew him will wish to pay last respects on the 18th.

It has officially been one year since we met as a corps. Hard to believe! If you shop on Amazon, please consider shopping through Amazon Smile. Search for us: Lancers Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps of Hanover Pennsylvania Inc. To date, Amazon Smile has made a donation of $217.57 to the Lancers. That number could be so much more if we all shopped through Amazon Smile. Thanks for your consideration!
The last event on our schedule has officially been cancelled. We have received notification that the Gettysburg Halloween Parade has been cancelled due to COVID-19. We all enjoy this parade and the camaraderie before and after the parade. Hoping that 2021 will afford us the opportunity to celebrate 101 years of performing together. 101 in '21!! Until then, continue to practice and enjoy your time with family! Stay safe and healthy!!
We have received official notice that due to COVID-19, America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration for 2020 has been cancelled. This is always the highlight of our year and we are hoping that we will be invited back in 2021. We are looking forward to the Lancers celebrating 101 in ’21! Stay safe and keep practicing!
We are sorry to have to share this news with you, but COVID-19 continues to hit our schedule hard. Keep practicing and stay safe!
Unfortunately COVID-19 continues to cause troubles for us. We have decided to cancel the picnic for this summer, but a new date will be selected for 2021. As soon as it is determined we will let you know! Stay safe and healthy out there so that we can all meet together next summer with no restrictions!
Two cancelled events in one week. COVID-19 has cancelled yet another beloved event that we enjoy being a part of. We hope to be able to participate in 2021. Stay safe, stay healthy!
Thank you for your continued support of The Lancers’ Annual Profiles in Music event held at The Pullo Center! Unfortunately, due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding large gatherings, we have chosen at this time to cancel our September 19, 2020 event so that we are not forced to make a last minute decision as we approach the event date. All tickets will be refunded as quickly as possible, but please allow 10-15 business days for your refund to be returned to your original ...method of purchase. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact The Pullo Center Box Office by leaving a message at 717-505-8900, or emailing the Box Office Manager, Amber Patton at [email protected]. We are already working on next years’ presentation! Stay safe and healthy, we can’t wait to see you in 2021!
Due to COVID-19 another event is cancelled from our performance schedule. October 24 would have been the Millersville Community-University parade. Keep rehearsing and stay safe!
*** CANCELLED *** Our show, originally scheduled for April 4, and then rescheduled to Saturday, September 19, 2020 has officially been cancelled! The cancellation comes at the direction of the Pullo Center, due to COVID-19 restrictions. While all of us are saddened, we think that most knew this was coming. Information regarding your full refund for your purchased tickets will be available soon.
Just sharing this information for those who may be interested.....
While the Towson parade was cancelled this year, due to COVID-19, the celebration of our country's independence still thrives. Hoping you and your family enjoy the holiday together!
