Jeff says that he lived in Lansdowne at the start of his married life and worked for four years at the Lansdowne Friends School @lansdownefriendsschool (1984-88). "I can say that this was probably the place where my creative making began, the small school inspired creativity in so many ways. I have m...any fond memories of those years." Jeff currently lives up the road in Havertown. * Artist Statement "Everything I have made seems to lead me to something else. Being in the process of creating something always sparks new ideas and takes me in new directions. I think this plays out in all of life. Staying in the creative frame of mind allows one to see how everything is connected. A wonderful email from the Lansdowne Farmers Market that needs to be shared: Virtual Artist of the Week: Christine McNutt ... We started this season with a brand new Artist of the Week, someone who’d never appeared in person in the Artist tent (that was Erica Harney), and we’re going to end with one, too. Christine McNutt lives in East Lansdowne and makes hand-dyed goods, t-shirts, pillows, fabric, and -- of course, this being 2020 masks. She has a swell assortment of tie-dyed shirts and pillow covers in her Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/swirlbychristine/ at the moment (some especially striking blue pieces), and all the prices include free shipping.
