Good Afternoon LANSFORD...!! Jolly Old St Nick is coming to Town!! That right, TODAY starting at 3PM, YOUR LPD, along the Lansford Fire Dept, Lehighton Ambulance, and Lansford Alive/Improvement Committee will be parading Santa Claus through the Borough. The route we will follow is:... From the Lansford Pool, East on Abbott Street until the end, then onto Bertsch St, heading West all the way back to Cortright St. We will then swing over on Ridge Street and again travel all the way to the end of Ridge Street in the East end of the Town. We will also make a lap through the Townhouse complex and then head back to the LFD HQ. We will NOT parade on Patterson St (209)..... It sunny, cold and BEAUTIFUL out, so bring the kids out, and watch SANTA go by!!!! We will see out on the parade route shortly!

YOUR LPD is asking for anyone with information about a shooting that occurred on Tuesday Nov 17th in the area of the 200 block of E Kline Ave, to please contact us at: [email protected]. There is no danger to the public, this was not a random assault, YOUR LPD is trying to verify information to close this case or to forward it to the appropriate agency.

YOUR LPD requesting some help in Identifying these two juveniles. This theft occurred during the daylight hours this past Sunday, 22 Nov 2020, in the 200 block of E Bertsch St. The taller subject used a cutting instrument, to cut away and remove an object from the front of the pictured vehicle. After removing this item, the two subjects ran East on Bertsch Street Although this is not a major theft, the fact that these juveniles were willing to commit the crime in broad day...light, clearly shows the need for the LPD to intervene in their current decision making process and hopefully get them on the correct path..
