Just got to be grateful, we were in a position that a lot of kids weren’t able to be in, Shane Hartzell said. A lot of kids had their seasons taken from them and they won’t get that back. Put it into perspective, it was really special. It was something really special. With everything going on in the world now, being able to come together as a family, as a team and to do what we did, we all will remember it for the rest of our lives.

I thought our season was great, Josh Jones said. It didn’t end the way we wanted and I wish I could have played that last game but our senior class in the last four years accomplished something not many other teams could say they did.

Despite a lack of nonleague games and condensed postseason brackets, teams from The Reporter/Times Herald/Montgomery Media area chimed in with plenty of success, which in turn led to plenty of standout individual seasons.

She was such a big presence in a part of the field where we didn’t have big bodies, people always say it doesn’t matter the size but she played huge, Rams coach Audrey Anderson said. It was crazy the amount of balls she won out of the air. If I could clone Lindsey, I’d have her as a target forward, a center mid, an attacking mid and a holding mid, she’s so great in any of those roles.

I like to think that one of my specialties is how creative I can be with the ball, Kaleigh Missimer said. One of my favorite parts of the game is being able to make up new moves or learn new things so when I use them in a game it’s something people have never seen before. In the offseason I like to learn a bunch of new tricks so I’m able to use them on multiple people at once. I think it’s the most efficient way to get by a whole team and it’s the most fun way to play the game.
