It was 22 years ago yesterday, February 1, 1994, that I went out on my own and opened my law practice. Over the weekend, my mother said, "Well you can always go back and join a firm if things don't work out." I replied, "Mom, after 22 years, I think I have this figured out" and we both laughed.
