Laura VanderVliet and Nilson Moreira Da Silva are an International Eventing husband and wife team who, together, own and operate L&N Equestrian in Aiken, SC. Laura has earned her Bronze and Silver USDF Rider Awards and several scores towards her Gold. Nilson is currently qualified and seeking a spot on the Brazilian Eventing Team for the Tokyo Olympic Games. Registration is complimentary to 4-H Members and volunteers. Registration is open to all! Things looked a little different this year with two evening me...etings held virtually and one in-person day on campus, but it was great to be able to see everyone again! Thank you to Penn State Quarter Horses and Brian Egan for a tour of the Penn State Equine Facilities and a great hands on workshop, and to Dr. Danielle Smarsh for a first look and informative explanation of the newly constructed Equciser. On Monday, May 17, at 7pm, the Leadership & Civic Engagement Working Group (LACE WG) will be hosting a FREE *virtual* Clover Award Training for all 4-H Staff an...d Volunteers. Through active participation and engagement with others from across the Commonwealth, this training will provide attendees with an understanding of the PA 4-H Clover Award program, an opportunity to learn Best Practices for supporting member pursuit of each level and answer the age-old question: What is the actual difference between Community Service and Service Learning?. 4-H Volunteers and 4-H Staff may register now: https://extension.psu.edu/4-h/clover-awards-adults Resources from this training, in addition to the recording, will be made available for future use. Sponsorships provide a means to promote your organization, business or club while supporting youth exhibitors.
